New York

Dear blog,

YAV year orientation was a week-long affair in New York state, at the Presbyterian, multifaith-oriented Stony Point retreat center. I saw deer, bats, one teeny firefly, and ravens probably large enough to devour the crows from back home. I even spotted a bald eagle diving over the Hudson River. Americaaa!

But anyway.

We also jaunted a bit through Harlem on the way to the Church of the Master, but as our collective motto for the New York City trip was "be cool", I broke protocol to take obnoxious tourist photos only at the subway stop outside Yankee Stadium.

Proof I was in NYC.

More later,
Caro
